This past week, R29 was thrilled to welcome a new (but familiar) face in the office. Ann Kim won over our editor-in-chief and creative director earlier this year with her amazing street-style blog, Andy Heart, which earned her the title of the 2nd Annual Next Big Style Blogger.

As a part of her grand prize, Kim joined our team as an intern for the week and helped us out (much appreciated, Ann!) as she hit the town with camera in hand to snap hot style right here on the streets of NYC — and don't worry, she documented her adventures along the way.

Here's what she had to say: "My week at Refinery29 was exciting and eventful. Each day was a different adventure. The assignments ranged from style gathering to style hunting. One day, I helped with research for an upcoming article. The next, I was hitting the streets to photograph stylish people (for Refinery29's Street Style section). Oh, and I was soaking in some of NYC's best fashion and food destinations in the process. Plus, I met some incredibly cool people along the way."

Jump ahead for all of our Next Big Style Blogger's Insta-memories. Until next year, future style bloggers....
