Alex & Eli’s Invite-in-a-Can Wins Our “Most Refreshing” Award

Most of the fashion week invitations that cross our desks each season are some incarnation of the mundane rectangular variety, be they letterpressed paper, plastic, canvas scraps, or just about every weight of foil-embossed cardstock available at Kate's Paperie (snooze). Alex & Eli delivered a seriously impressive surprise today when the invite to their presentation arrived in a simple white box containing that skinny bitch staple, a can of Diet Coke. However, just a soda it was not: The (weighted) can had a twist top that revealed the rolled-up details for the show. And to think we'd have been happy had they simply saved one of us a trip to the corner store!
