This Boozy Slushie Recipe Is Just What Your Weekend Needs

If every bar catered to our favorite warm-weather cocktail requirements, the menu at our local watering hole might look more like that of an amusement park than an establishment that serves alcohol. That's because we prefer it when our cocktails taste like booze-infused versions of our favorite beverages of yesteryear. (Case in point: this Jägermeister root beer float.)

This Aperol Frozémonade recipe from the folks at Extra Fancy in Brooklyn is just the kind of drink we want to sip all weekend long. The name might make it sound extra fancy at first, but this is really just a boozy take on a frozen pink lemonade — otherwise known as a slushie full of liquor.

The best part about sipping on an Aperol Frozémonade is that it's really easy to pull off. If you have a blender and some ice, you can make this drink at home. In fact, you're just five ingredients away from the perfect slurpable summer beverage. Now, all we need are those colorful straws with the spoon on one end.
