Can you believe it's been nearly three years since Kim Kardashian quite literally "Broke The Internet" for Paper magazine? Yeah, neither can we. The iconic Jean-Paul Goude imagery, the custom full-length sequined dress, the impeccable booty balance...but we digress. On Friday, Paper unveiled its latest iteration of its go-viral-or-go-home issue, "Break The Rules," starring Rihanna. And girlfriend obviously looks good (seriously, because of this shoot, we may never be able to step into our corner deli not wearing Chanel again).
Among all the looks, though (and believe us, there were many: that now-classic Dior bra, that color-blocked Bally coat, that striped rugby polo by Marc Jacobs), we couldn't. stop. staring. at those earrings — and not because they're five inches wide and made up of Swarovski crystals. It's because we just saw them on Kendall Jenner — seriously, the 21-year-old model wore the exact same pair of hoops Thursday evening to the Off-White fall 2017 show at Paris Fashion Week. A quick scroll through Instagram, and we quickly realized both women had actually worn them multiple times before.

Here's the need-to-know: The square-shaped earrings are from New York-based label AREA and retail for $285. In terms of jewelry, the three-year-old brand also offers a circular pair of the same diameter, as well as some limited-edition lucite pieces from its spring/summer 2017 offering, but it's really become one-to-watch for its ready-to-wear (AREA was a finalist in the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund in 2016); this past week alone, Bella Hadid has worn its clothing twice while out in Paris. Other celebrity fans of the designer include Kylie Jenner, Jasmine Sanders, and Taylor Hill. Yet despite AREA's star power, both shapes of the earrings are (surprisingly) still in-stock. But, if this Rihanna cover does, in fact, break the internet, we could almost certainly see it breaking the brand's e-commerce site. So, if you're in the market for some extra-large hoops (because really, who isn't?), we suggest buying them before they're spotted on another Hadid sister. Otherwise, we're betting it'll be game-over.
