Kris Jenner Still Can’t Call Her Ex Caitlyn — Here’s Why

We already knew that Kris and Caitlyn Jenner would meet face to face for the first time on an episode of I Am Cait. What goes unmentioned, however, is that Kris is never able to refer to her former spouse by her new name. She may not have had occasion to during that particular meeting (think about how many times you really say someone's name when you're engaged in a one-on-one conversation), but there is actually a larger issue at play. Kris told Access Hollywood about it in a recent interview with Billy Bush. When asked if she still refers to Caitlyn as "Bruce," Kris responded, "I say 'Jenner'... I just thought she would be a little bit different. Bruce had a distinct personality and, you know, had definite characteristics. And Caitlyn has some different ones, I feel." "Can you ever be great friends with Caitlyn? Girlfriends?" Billy asked. "Curl up on the couch? Can this happen?" "I don't know about curl up on the couch, but she came over for a drink last night. And that was nice," Kris responded. As to whether or not she'll ever be able to refer to her ex as Caitlyn, only time will tell. (Access Hollywood)
