Selena Gomez Writes Cryptic Instagram Message About Her “Secrets”

Selena Gomez is not one to shy away from addressing gossip. The former Disney star and hit singer speaks up for herself regularly, and it doesn't seem like that's going to change any time soon. While we're all for such courage and honesty, her latest message have our eyebrows in the air. Late last night, Gomez shared an Instagram post saying," I want to claim my own name." She then proceeded to address what's really bothering her. "Sometimes I get frustrated when I hear lies about who I am. The Internet is meant to keep you 'updated' but it just takes old news and freezes it like it's now," she continued. We can't argue with her there, as she's not the first star to talk about how brutal the web can be, especially when it comes to a gal's body image. "You have watched me in pain and I've owned up to it through my music and my actions. I grew up with you," she wrote from 'her casa.' Between the age-old harsh criticism about her body and a rocky, public relationship with singer Justin Beiber, Gomez has indeed had her fare share of scrutiny. "I am beyond excited to show you the next chapter, the TRUTH," she wrote. "I've been keeping so many secrets." There's no telling what the multitude of secrets are, but we're all ears, Gomez.
