Earlier today, we predicted there would be a lot of red carpets in Benedict Cumberbatch's very near future. Well, it looks like he may have finally found his date.
The 38-year-old actor sent the U.K. media into a frenzy in June, when he attended the French Open with a mystery brunette. Well, after months of sleuthing, the tabloids have finally identified the woman as British actress and theater director Sophie Hunter. Sherlock Holmes would be proud.
Because this is the gossip-crazed British media we're dealing with, her name and occupation alone would not suffice. According to The Mirror, Ms. Turner is an Oxford grad whose had bit parts in films like Vanity Fair and TV shows like Midsomer Murders, which we're guessing is a British thing.

Cumberbatch and Hunter reportedly met on the set of the 2008 film Burlesque Fairytales, which is one of the many films the actor appeared in before becoming everything to everyone.
