Adam Brody & Leighton Meester Are Engaged, Our 16-Year-Old Hearts Swoon

Yes, you read that right. Seth Cohen and Blair Waldorf are officially getting hitched. Brody and Meester have been dating for less than a year, but as Star reports, they've decided to walk down the aisle. A source told the mag that Adam's proposal came ever so slightly out of nowhere, but obviously no one could say no to that face. "Leighton and Adam are crazy about each other and have talked about getting married eventually," said the source. "But she had no idea he would propose so soon! It was the surprise of her life and she’s ecstatic!"

While some of us still think of Adam Brody as Summer Roberts' main man, he's been with Leighton since last winter. The couple first met in 2011 on the set of their flick The Oranges, and went public in February. Reps for Brody and Meester have yet to make a statement about the proposal, but the source told Star that they're planning to wed next summer. Mazel to the happy couple! (Star)
