Got A Beauty Q? At Target, Help Is On The Way

There's something magically therapeutic (at least, for us) about wandering the beauty aisle at our local Target. The plethora of affordable products, the wide range of brands, the perfect packaging — it all comes together to create a feeling of big-box nirvana. But what happens when you actually have a question about that $8 face cream you're contemplating? Luckily, at the Columbia Heights store, there's a friendly face you can seek out.

The newly launched Beauty Concierge program positions one brand-savvy employee in the beauty aisles a few days a week to help customers with pressing queries about foundations, moisturizers, shampoos — you name it. Each concierge has been trained on all the brands carried in each store, so you can consider them a fountain of knowledge when it comes to the available products. The Columbia Heights concierge, Will, was happy to help with our quest for a budget-friendly concealer to handle our dark under-eye circles, and also pointed out some potential contenders for wrinkle creams, too. The one-on-one advice made us feel a bit more confident about our purchases, without that pesky pressure to buy — just what we'd expect from our go-to happy place.
