Don't get us wrong: We think Michelle Obama will go down in the history books as one of the coolest, most approachable first ladies of all time. But, when we spotted this crazy-awesome fashion spread starring Maryland's first lady, Katie O'Malley, we could easily see a little competition in the making. The Baltimore City District Court judge and wife of Governor Martin O'Malley looks like a bona fide model in a shoot for the May-June issue of Baltimore Style mag, and does all kinds of kooky editorial things, like standing barefoot on the dining table in a caftan and running through a garden in an enormous ballgown. We're not gonna lie — we're totally in love with this, and we've got a newfound appreciation for Mrs. O'Malley. We say: Kudos for doing something risky and fun, and hopefully this will inspire MObama to loosen up a little for her next Vogue spread. (Baltimore Style)
