'Tis the season for party-garb-induced anxiety attacks. And that's precisely why today's opening of Zara's Oxford Street flagship store couldn't be better timed. This is the retailer's fourth (!!) store on London's well-trodden Christmas shopping beat, and with 1,500 square metres spread across three floors, there should be more than enough sequins on offer to see you through to December 31.
The store has a deliberately "stripped down" look, which we assume is meant to enable shoppers to attack their Christmas gift lists with assassin-like precision. There are also designated chill-out zones, perfect for parking boyfriends and grabbing a quick power nap.
Full disclosure, though: We'll be ditching our gift lists and heading straight for the footwear department. Is it us or does Zara have the most awesome shoes on the high street at the moment?
