    White clothes are no strangers to our wardrobe. We don't know where our closets would be without the washed-out wonder. And, lately it's the monochrome outfits we've spotted that have piqued our interest in the color. Crisp, all-white styles were a fixture on the spring '14 catwalks and continue to be a prominent presence in retailer's seasonal lookbooks and shopping selections.

    That's not to say we don't have doubts about donning the trend ourselves — fears of spillage and stains abound. Although, in this case, we're willing to take our chances. After all, it's essentially a blank canvas: There's not much you can't do with the single-color palette. Try a surprisingly chic sweatpant getup for lazy weekends (and brunch, if you dare). Or, get gussied up in pretty LWDs and white accessories for a classy, girls' night out. Then, for work, adopt a long, oversized trench, classic button-down, and creamy cropped slacks for an HR-approved approach to the stark style.
