    Even if you're a Chicago native, West Rogers Park never really gets any less interesting. In fact, the South Asian strip on Devon Avenue between Ravenswood and California is a lot like navigating a Delhi market filled with Indian — even Pakistani — shops, grocers, and restaurants.

    But curries and saris aren't the only highlights in this 'hood. You'll also find kosher eateries and bakeries, thanks to its Jewish influences (hello, cultural melting pot!). While you won't need a passport to visit this neighborhood, you will need your appetite.
