In no particular order, Karolina Maszkiewicz has been a designer for Juicy Couture, Forever 21, and Old Navy, with freelance work for Wren, Current/Elliott, Young Fabulous & Broke, and more. She's also taught at FIDM, created her own line of cocktail rings (Pinky Panthers), worked as a trend forecaster of Collezioni, and — oh — yeah, done a little costume illustration for CSI: NY. She's what one would call "traveled."

For the moment, though, things seem to be settling down with the creation and success of her just-too-adorable store on La Brea, Weekend Lovers, that's filled with chic furniture, accessories, and clothes. Love it? Yep. Shop it? You know it! Oh, and Maszkiewicz's Laurel Canyon home? Want it! As you'll see, all that experience designing, illustrating, and consulting has been put to very good use in her um-mazing lil' cottage

Click on through the slideshow to get up close and very personal with a long-time fashion pro who's not only found a retail home for her talents, but a house in the Canyons we'd die for.
