Located in Portland, Oregon, Buy Olympia, started in 1999, now helps 50 + designers and over 20 independent publishers sell their homemade items, art, clothing and books. Also featuring local event listings such as "Reefer Madness the Musical" and links to awesome music label stores like Kill Rock Stars and a Deerhoof tote bag, the site offers all the caboodle of Olympia without you ever having to leave the couch. Our personal favorites include the Tiny Meat Barn Owl wallet, the Extra Arm shirt with microphone, Marc Vidal's chalk eggs and Vladimir of qVladistan's Viewmasters for adults. Because it's Olympia, there is of course the Rock + Roll camp for Girls, teaching young ladies ages 8-18 to rock it out DIY style.
