The most important thing to keep in mind when wearing waterproof eye makeup, according to Paré, is that it shouldn't be an everyday thing. "Just use it for special occasions and rainy days," she says. And, be sure to remove it fully, as leaving it on can damage your lashes. (Paré recommends Aveda's Beautifying Composition Oil
