If the credit crunch seems to be threatening to rob us of everything but the shirts on our backs, we say at least let the shirts make a statement—which is why this Cityfile post on a Wall Street Journal article about T-shirts emblazoned with slightly altered financial institution logos particularly spoke to us. Giordano International Ltd. dreamed up the creatively spelled (read: lawsuit evading) shirts in "response" to the economic crisis, "to lift spirits with 'Halloween HalloTees' that are equally stylish, casual and spooky." As the fabric of our economy unravels, it's good to know that the world's clothiers are still aiming for the cutting-edge. (Cityfile)
