Even though we live in this gorgeous city, it's always nice to remind ourselves of its beauty from an outsider's perspective. Which is why we're absolutely head over heels with this latest S.F.-centric spread in Vogue China's April 2012 issue.

The star of the layout is none other than S.F. native and R29 fave Lily Kwong. The twenty-something model, Ivy League student, blogger, and cousin to Joseph Altuzarra took the Vogue China team on a tour of the City by the Bay, naturally dressed to the nines the entire time.

She says, "Our team for this shoot was my boyfriend and three good friends, so it felt incredibly special to share my hometown with them," Kwong tells us. "San Francisco is my first love and it really is a magical city. The opening shot was taken on Randall Hill, where we had my senior ditch-day party. We were up to all sorts of mischief back then, so it was surreal to shoot something so chic and beautiful out there. And our whole team stayed at my parent's house. So, the best part of our long shoot days was coming home to my dad's famous home-cooked feasts!"

Awwww. Sounds like a beautiful love affair no matter what how you look at it. Check out the resulting portfolio, shot by Simon Cave, styled by Morgan Pilcher, and with hair and makeup by Tsipporah Liebman, after the jump, and be sure to check out the April 2012 issue of Vogue China, on newsstands now.

If they sell it online, and you can wear it, we've clicked on it. However, this offering (pictured at right) on Pixie Market gave us a rare read

Math Says You Can Throw Your OTHER Black Pumps Away

Okay, okay. There's no need to start tossing shoe boxes out the window. No, not even if you desperately need a bit more closet space. But, it seems like we might have pinpointed THE very best black pump, according to math that is. Rank & Style has calculated the Stuart Weitzman Nouveau pump as the top pick for the classic read

The Most Flattering Swimsuit For YOU

Lately, it's taken nearly all our willpower not to think about sun rays, long weekends, and beach hair — from the actual beach and not a bottle. But, there's really no bigger buzzkill than hours of trying on bathing suits that epically fail to do your body justice. And, the fact is, your swimwear is probably the read
