Lil Wayne is a skateboarder! Not a great one, mind you, but he's good enough to not fall off when going back and forth and back and forth on a mini ramp. And even more importantly, he's definitely "good enough" to warrant his own skate-inspired clothing line, Trukfit, which will sell on Karmaloop as well as at Zumiez .
The line is named after Lil Wayne's experience with taking merch off the back of clothing booster trucks when he was younger. "When a person could spot a fake, they'd be like 'you got on the truck fit," said Lil Wayne at his presentation last week. The official Trukfit video shows off caps, Japanese-inspired graphic T-shirts, camo shorts, American Apparel striped athletic socks, colorful Ray Bans shades, Vans skate shoes, backward headphones, and a lot of silver body paint... but only 40 items of T-shirts and fitted caps will be available late this month, and nearly 100 items in total popping up on the site by late March.
