As August peaces out, leaving our tropical-print rompers in the dust, we also retire our summer slides (sigh) and tuck our feet back into closed-toe shoes. But, since we're still in our slip-on-and-go mentality, we're looking for kicks that have the functionality of active sneakers without all the fuss of ankle-binding laces. Isn't that all you could ask for in transitional footwear?

That's why, it's a no-brainer our next pair of trusty rubber soles is coming from Vans, the shoe brand that pioneered the classic slip-on trend. Click on to see how we style this fresh crop of the brand's ever-iconic style. With shimmering metallics, luxe leathers, and quirky-chic patterns galore, you can say we're sliding into autumn with ease.

When in doubt, wear the classic all-white shoe — but, with a twist! Go on, reach for that perforated leather.
