'Tis The Season For Truffles—Here's Where To Find 'Em

It doesn't take a serious foodie to realize that truffles are the stuff of legends, but what you may not know is that the luxe ingredient is only in season a couple of months a year. While truffle oil gets drizzled over everything from breakfast pizza to mac n' cheese, black and white truffles are actually extremely rare — and they're available in NYC restaurants #rightnow. To celebrate the subterranean 'shroom, we've gathered a few of the tastiest dishes from around the city guaranteed to give you a taste of the high life. But, buyers beware: These treats aren't for the foodie faint of heart, or wallet. Without further ado, our mini-mushroom hit-list!
