This Is Our Jam: Bam Spacey, “Ström”

Swedish electronic producer Magnus Johansson (aka Bam Spacey) recently released his debut single “Vi Delar Samma Grav,” which in translation means “We Share the Same Grave.” While this may sound dark, the b-side, “Ström,” is a smooth piece of pop that’s the opposite of macabre. As Johansson’s heavily manipulated voice ripples over a deep techno backdrop, it’s impossible to find a hard edge anywhere in sight.
