Taking Party-Hopping To the Extreme at Last Night's FNO Festivities

Despite the sprinkles and wind, fashion people throughout the city took to the streets last night for some twilight-timed retail therapy. We felt the trick-or-treat vibe as we hopped from one crowded shop-party to another, but the great merch and mountains of freebies left our love of Halloween candy in the dust! From Oak crafts and Intermix celebs to Barneys mayhem and Teen Vogue pantslessness, we definitely let our hair down as we shopped, guzzled, and partied our way through the city. At the end of the evening, the only thing missing was the cash in our pockets, but judging from the renewed Fashion Week vibe, we venture to say it was worth it.

Downtown's finest (including Kate Mulleavy and Erin Wasson) turned out in masse last night for Opening Ceremony's party at the Howard Street outpost to witness vogue battles, street sales and pimped out cars selling designer wares.
Yes, Barneys pulled out all the stops for Fashion's Night Out making it more than worth the subway fare uptown. With Proenza Schouler on 1 autographing wallets, Alex Wang and Hanne Gaby on 7 giving runway lessons, and Rodarte on 2 hosting a mini concert with Justin Bond, pardon us if the shopping wasn't our first priority.
SOHO's Prada store was transformed into a raging gig with a huge crowd packing the stairs to rock out to The Rapture. We could only watch in horror as drinks were placed perilously close to some rather expensive Prada wares!
Golden mannequins with nipple-ring chains, show-stopping celebrities in show-stopping outfits, and enough Patron to feed the world turned the Soho Intermix into a swinging nightspot.
