Now, the flick — dubbed The Expendabelles, naturally — has officially been given the green light. Producer Avi Lerner told The Hollywood Reporter, “We’re going to do it at the beginning of next year. We are writing the final lines of the script, and we’ve got lots of ideas about who is going to be in it.”
Though we might have our hearts set on the Meryl Streep rumor, it looks like Sylvester Stallone is eying a different leading lady to star in the film. Namely, Sigourney Weaver. Stallone said he would love Weaver to play his wife in the movie, and we can't help but agree. Now, the only question is: Which other actresses should be tapped to round out the cast?
