    A Behind-the-Scenes Met Ball Exclusive

    Instead of watching Daphne Guinness get all dolled up in a Barneys window, we were hanging yesterday out with our very own pre-Met Ball glam squad: Estée Lauder's four supermodels—Liu Wen, Hilary Rhoda, Joan Smalls, and Constance Jablonski—as they prepped for the big night. We got the inside scoop from makeup maestro Tom Pecheux and team as they transformed each model for the evening (it's the Met Ball, so you can bring the drama, and according to Pecheux, "You always create for something. Today, it's McQueen." Stylist Mary Alice Stephenson decked them out fashion-wise, with Joan Smalls wearing Tom Ford and the rest in Alexander McQueen. And while the fashion on this particular night is always sublime, we were even more excited about the insider beauty tips gleaned from each lovely model.
