When you book your first big gig in Hollywood, you're handed an agent and some oversized shades — or, that's what we like to think. Even to us non-famous folk, wearing a pair of statement sunglasses feels like a luxury; it's like we're shielding ourselves from the nonexistent flash of a nonexistent camera.
One way or another, celebrities are forced to learn a thing or two about eyewear. They're either based in Tinseltown, where the sun (almost) always shines, and/or they just like to keep a low profile wherever they go. Inevitably, celebs develop preferences. Some are into the classic thing
, with a penchant for Wayfarers and cat-eyes. Others aren't afraid to get funky, playing around with quirky shapes and bright finishes. Now, as spring is (hopefully, please, fingers crossed) around the corner, we're turning to the biggest and brightest of Hollywood to inspire our eyewear shopping for the sunnier days ahead. After all, these folks have pretty good taste.
