How would you describe your style?
“People might peg me as majorly boho, but I like to think I'm a little
more diverse...maybe modern boho? Or how about rock-star boho?”
Where do you pull your style inspiration from?
“A lot of it comes from my favorite musicians and artists: Bob Dylan
and Frida Kahlo are my top two. Also, movies: I was in awe of Marion Cotillard's
dresses in Midnight in Paris, and I can't watch Faye Dunaway in Bonnie
and Clyde enough times.”
What are your wardrobe staples?
“Wide-leg jeans, off-the-shoulder t-shirts, maxi dresses, platform
shoes, humongous earrings, and giant rings.”
What are your favorite Bay Area shops?
“I love Paxton Gate for its quirky plants, taxidermy, and cool
jewelry. I also love Ver Unica in Hayes Valley for great jewelry and
pristine vintage. Simply Chic has amazing high-end vintage, and on the other end of the spectrum, Clothes Contact is awesome for clothing by the pound!”
What's the worst fashion crime you’ve ever seen at a tech event?
“It's so not fair to judge fashion at a tech event! But I do wish
people would stop wearing–and giving out!–really uninteresting
company-logo t-shirts.”
