Don't get us wrong — we love the way our moms dress. We were born to some seriously stylish ladies, and we have them to thank for many of our sartorial wins. But we were pretty sure we'd be hard-pressed to hit up their favorite shops and find, well, anything that would work in our own wardrobes (much less anything we thought we couldn't live without). But yet again, Mom proves us wrong.
We did a marathon day of virtual mall-shopping, hitting all the go-to shops for the 40-and-up set — Talbots, Chico's, J.Jill, the works — and discovered some can't-miss pieces that will look right at home next to your maxi dresses, pencil skirts, and skinny jeans.
