After last year's polar vortex, it's safe to say we've all mastered layering like a pro. But, this necessary sartorial skill doesn't end there: Stacking on layers of jewelry — arm adornments in particular — can be just as much of an outfit maker. After all, what else can totally transform a T-shirt and jeans like an assemblage of wrist accoutrements? So, to prove the power of the arm party, we sought out the best in the game.

In our Style Stack Instagram contest with Nixon, we asked you to show us your "style stacks" for a chance to win a new Nixon watch and $1,500 worth of jewelry, handpicked by our editors. And, the 'grams that came through our #NixonStyleStack feed — everything from the delicate and dainty to the bold and chunky — had us rethinking our own metallic mash-ups.

Now that the contest has come to a close, we've rounded up our favorites for some bejeweled inspiration. Click through to get a closer look at the winning wrist candy, plus 15 honorable mentions and our tips for snagging their style. Let's layer on that bling, shall we?

Perfect symmetry, uniform stacking, and all that is silver! These artfully curated cuffs are so unexpected that they make this 'gram the winning image of Style Stack.

Find geometric subtleties in your watch, and coordinate your bangle accordingly.

Don't let a hefty watch deter you from adding accents — just opt for the more dainty variety.

You wouldn't think that these three pieces would work together, but because they're in the same color family (yellow gold, in this case), they so mesh.
