Welcome To The Bronze Age: Has D.C. Fully Embraced The Fake Tan?
No one's arguing with the innate appeal of a sun-kissed glow. From Barbie to the Beach Boys, pop culture is filled with icons lauding the life-affirming power of a good base tan. But it's 2012, and we're all well aware of the skin-wrecking effects of sunbathing and (eek) fake-baking. (Right? Don't make us pry the SPF 0 Hawaiian Tropic out of your hands.)

, lining up for spray tans at Georgetown's Nectar Skin Bar and Glow Salon. We've been faux-glow believes ever since we spied our first traces of crow's feet, but we're glad to see our fellow ladies starting to embrace a safer approach to the sun.
