"I'm a vegetarian, so I don't even eat turkey, but I always end up eating more than the meat-eaters. I pile my plate with tons of sides and stuffings, so this knit is perfect to hide all of that buttery goodness! Especially for when the pumpkin pie hits the table. Plus, I love that Alan Eckstein's (one-half of design duo Timo Weiland) dog Coconut is on the sweater."

"Every year for the past few years, my mom, dad, and sister go away for Thanksgiving. Usually, it's London, but this year, we decided to rent a house in L.A. and make an extra-long weekend out of it. Thanksgiving on the go!"

"I feel like Cher Horowitz from Clueless in this outfit — if she were to come to New York for the holidays. Funny enough, I went as Cher for Halloween last year, and I still have the yellow-plaid outfit in my closet. Since I'll be in L.A. this Thursday, maybe I'll break out the costume and release my inner '90s schoolgirl all over again. Maybe."

"The necklace really dresses up this outfit. And, while the skirt doesn't leave much room for dessert, I'm totally prepared for any cute guys that make their way to our Friendsgiving get-together that me and my friends whip up each November."

"Because of a slipup with the realtor we rented the original house from, my family had to switch houses last minute — and, we were offered Paris Hilton's former house (the one with a stripper pole and the infamous club room)! Safe to say that this Thanksgiving will certainly be one of our more interesting dinners."

"The cat ears are definitely the conversation piece to this casual look. By the end of the night, guaranteed they'll be passed around to everyone at the table to try on."

"They just add a fun little detail to an outfit that I would wear on a regular day. And, the neutral colors of the Won Hundred jacket are very nostalgic to me. They remind me of that first crisp fall day."

"I throw on an oversized sweater pretty much over everything, and I love the colorblocking in this one."

"I've been wearing a lot of full skirts and leather, so this is the perfect combination of everything I'm incorporating into my everyday essentials. The top is delicate but still eased out, so it balances the edginess of the skirt."

"I love dressing up this time of year because there is always something going on in the city, and I really get to play with my winter wardrobe. I'll be hosting Friendsgiving at my apartment (for the first time ever!) and attending a holiday cocktail party next week."

"I love easy separates that are effortless and polished; it's like my go-to uniform. The leather is a great alternative to a jean, and an ankle-strap heel is my go-to — it can easily be transitioned from work straight to dinner."

"I'm from the South, so when I go home to Alabama, I'm putting cornbread dressing on everything — if I could only have it all the time in NYC!"
