Obsession Is An Understatement: Shipley & Halmos’ New Designer Collabs

Sam Shipley and Jeff Halmos are two of the coolest cats around—our love affair with both the guys and the brand is well documented on the site. So we were insanely amped when we heard about their new collaborative project: The designer wonder duo tapped some of their favorite brands (and ours) to help expand the Shipley & Halmos universe and celebrate their first foray into the world of e-commerce. , the collection is available exclusively on their brand-spanking-new e-commerce site, with a new product debuting each month through the spring. The first round of collaborations include a Moleskine notebook made for the boy's drawing blog Numerous Drawings, and a darkly preppy class ring necklace created with Philip Crangi. The finger bling, engraved with the Latin saying "Art is Long, Life is Short," immediately jumped to the top of our holiday wish list —it's that awesome. Also available in the Things! Store is a tightly curated selection of everyday objects imbued with the boys' signature quirky-cool aesthetic.
