A Simple Spring 'Do For Second-Day Hair — Here's How

What got us through the polar vortex and looked continually fab in our hair? The scarf, of course. Regardless of the season or the reason, scarves make us look and feel like we've got it all goin' on. So, in our endless effort to create the perfect spring-y 'do, we turned once again to this ever-reliable accessory.

With a particular look in mind, but serious confusion as to how to properly execute it, we called in hairstylist Bethany Brill for a little step-by-step instruction. And, when she told us scarves and second-day hair are basically made for each other, it was music to our ears. (Because with all the springtime fun we have planned, the last thing we want to do is have to worry about washing.) Brill wrapped up our assistant beauty editor Tara — in the best possible way. See for yourself, above.

Chinti and Parker Multi-Stripe Sweater, $489.46, available at Chinti and Parker; Ruffian Williamsburg Toile Scarf, $95, available at Ruffian.
