Weekend Plan: Eat This, Wear That

In S.F., it’s not at all unusual to find folks marking down days on the calendar in anticipation of a new bar or eatery. And, yes, we're chomping at the bit right along with them. This year, our cup has already runneth over with amazing openings. To fête three crazy-good (and super new) additions in the ‘hood, we’ve culled a complementary trio of must-copy outfits.
From a hot, new sushi-restaurant revamp to the coffee shop opening of the year, dressing up for a stroll and a snack never looked so good. If you weren’t already trying to nab a table at these venues, be sure to take a gander at our findings. And, when we're also providing head-to-toe outfits, your weekend planning can't get much easier. Your culinary adventure awaits, all you have to bring is your appetite!

ICHI Sushi
This newly minted ICHI Sushi location is blowing its former, cramped locale out of the water. So, naturally, it's deserving of your closet's best. While you deliberate over the menu's endless edible candidates, a minimal look will suit you well. Take a nod from the eye-catching Erik Marinovich mural spanning the restaurant's wall by pairing a black-and-white printed blouse and casually femme skirt with a killer red lippie. With an outfit as fitting as this, you won't feel like a fish out of water.

Sightglass Coffee
The buzz around town is that the new Sightglass location on 20th Street is the place to scope out hotties. You know what that means — coffee with a side of flirty eyes, for here. Grab your iced caffeine fix and kick back atop one of the custom-designed benches, we've got your look covered. Try this bright and swingy yellow number topped with a too-cool beanie and crafty baubles. Owners (and brothers) Justin and Jared Morrison know how to bring the rugged, contemporary style. Juxtapose that with this girly get-up and you're sure to get noticed.

The Square
With predecessors like Sweet Woodruff and Sons and Daughters, The Square is a shoo-in to the must-dine list. The award-winning chef and owners Teague Moriarty and Matt McNamara have worked their magic yet again. Making itself at home in Washington Square Park, the restaurant's already established a comfy, neighborhood-spot vibe. For your look, mixing cozy with a side of slinky is the way to go. A fiery jumpsuit like this is the perfect thing to face down that boozy drink list. Add laid-back neutrals, like this Gräf and Lantz tote and a polished nude heel, and you're all set for the first course.
