Revolver’s Summer Lookbook Has Us Following Our Own Shadows

When summertime pops into our brains, we like to think it's all melting popsicles and tan lines — but Revolver 's latest lookbook is singing a more ethereal tune. The photos, captured by photographer Carlos Chavarria, cast ominous shadows — like when the sun sets after a long summer day — which manages to make the looks hot and cool, all in the same snap.
As for the duds themselves, stylists Marta Fernandez and Jonathan Hoyt are playing the match game (most getups embody the same print). From a First Rite tie-dye striped short suit to Paul and Joe floral jeans and button-ups, these looks push the mismatching trend right out of the limelight! So, despite the lack of bright exposure we've come to expect from summer lookbooks, these morose snaps still have us in the mood to play dress up by embracing our inner dark side. After clicking through the looks, we bet you'll tap into the same sartorial frame of mind.
