Rag & Bone Launches A Guerilla-Style Advertising Campaign

Advertising can so easily be gimmicky, so when we see something that both grabs our attention, doesn't annoy us, and then makes us want to buy some clothes... well, lock the doors because we've found a real winner! The boys behind Rag & Bone, Marcus Wainwright and David Neville, have created a guerilla advertising campaign which involves plastering thousands of posters all over lower Manhattan in a "Dan Smith Will Teach You Guitar" fashion. The ads consist of personal photographs of models Abbey Lee Kershaw, Edita Vilkeviciute, Sasha Pivovarova, and Lily Aldridge wearing Rag & Bone. Tangentially, they've also asked editors, bloggers, and staffers to submit their own images for their website, and includes snaps from Details Eugene Tong, model Elettra Wiedemann, Marie Claire's Taylor Tomasi-Hill, and Bunny Bisous' Julia Frakes. It might be no Aqua Teen Hunger Force situation, but we're sure pedestrians won't mind seeing Sasha's lovely mug papered next to psychic services. We like! (WWD)
