Woop! A Talented Local Ceramicist Grabs Martha Stewart's Attention

main
It’s not often that when flipping through the pages of the national glossies we spot a local face. So, you can imagine our delight when we happened upon Berkeley-based pottery artist Rae Dunn in the February issue of Martha Stewart Living mag. And as if that isn’t enough proof that Dunn is turning into a superstar ceramicist, she’s also just opened doors to her own studio and gallery.

There, and at Nordstrom, Anthropologie, and her Etsy store, we can shop her selections of handmade pieces adorned with quirky animal imprints and inspirational calligraphy messages. Needless to say, we couldn’t be any more psyched for Dunn’s much-deserved recognition. Pick up a copy to read the full feature (it’s not available online) and then see the clay creator in person by stopping by her artsy space just across the bridge.

Rae Dunn Studio + Gallery, 927 Parket Street (between 7th and 8th streets); 415-515-9062.
