SheFinds posted an interesting trend piece on that tricky skirt-layering trend that's been sweeping through fashion blogs since the spring '11 shows. Spurred by Chloe's sheer-dominated spring runway, the "Illusion Skirt"—the sheer maxi skirt worn on top of an opaque mini skirt look —has been cropping up on personal style blogs, but we haven't seen it done in real life except for on girls who probably have their own personal style blogs (as evidenced by the presence of additional fashion blogger-staples like Jeffrey Campbell Litas and floppy AA hats). Are we being too stodgy about the trend, though? Is this a look with some lasting power, or will this become the Forever21 cross ring of summer '11? (SheFinds)
