Come Fete PUBLIC Bikes’ New Oakland Outpost This Saturday

image
We’re pretty pumped that PUBLIC Bikes (our go-to outpost for stylish spokes) seems to be throwing parties as often as it crafts color-soaked cycles. And if you missed the Valencia Street pop-up bash, don’t fret. The company is keeping the ball bike rollin’ and shifting gears — this time in the East Bay. The biking boutique is expanding across the bridge and opening up in Oakland’s Jack London Square. Naturally, it's throwing a can’t-miss celebratory event in honor of the new digs.
The new warehouse has everything a two-wheeling enthusiast could dream of (including a photo studio and a retail store) and this party is without a doubt the best way to take advantage of the new setup. To ensure a good time, the fab folks at PUBLIC will be serving up deals, drinks, food, and fun. If you’re in S.F., the shop is just a hop, skip, and a BART ride away (no excuses for missing). Plus. keep in mind that used bikes with superficial scrapes will be up to 40% off and there will be special offers on last year’s models, so make sure you bring a roomy vehicle. We’ll catch you there.

When: Saturday, June 16, 1 to 4 p.m.

Where: PUBLIC Bikes, 205 Alice Street (between 2nd and 3rd streets), Oakland; 510-521-1581.
