Yes, we all know that everyone is super connected now because of insanely far-reaching modes of communication. But, design merchants have fully taken advantage of our connectedness — in a good way — by going to emerging economies and tapping native artists to craft beautiful and soulful products. This outreach has created sustainable income opportunities for local industries.
