With NYC losing the Tents and the economy throwing practically everyone's shows into various stages of peril, London seems to be having a Fashion Week renaissance of sorts. First Burberry made the move from Milan back to its English roots, then we hear Matthew Williamson is also heading back home after a few seasons in New York. And today the British Fashion Council announced that Pringle—that purveyor of fine knits and cool blouses will also be among the designers presenting their spring collections during London Fashion Week. Could this mean other designers will follow suit? Only time will tell, but as of now, at least we can sleep soundly knowing Topshop and Alexa are still firmly planted on U.S. soil.
