In the sweeping rainbow of summer music festivals, there are those that trend toward the more Top 40 end of the spectrum and those where you have to double check with a friend to make sure that the set was actually started (and not just sound check). The happiest of mediums is a music festival where you can pretty much guarantee that you'll get to see those responsible for the albums you've been listening to all summer, and fall in love with a few new (to you!) bands as well.
