    I love Pinterest. You love Pinterest. We all love Pinterest.

    Except when it leads us astray. Because, let's be real — Pinterest is a black hole of lovely images where some less-than-perfect decorating trends have gained real traction. We'd like to put a stop their ubiquity. Stat.

    Don't get us wrong: We still have a certain fondness for the pervasive mason jar in its proper place (in the cupboard, pickling), and appreciate a good DIY candle wreath as much as the next host (for themed holiday parties). But, too much of a good thing — or a mediocre thing — that's been repinned 5,000 times is sometimes just that: too much.
