Like yin and yang, or a black and white cookie, the two ladies behind Penelope and Coco, L.A.’s most exciting new shoe line, are a study in opposites attracting. While Marisa Spinella and Arielle Vavasseur co-own this amazing line of oxfords, boots, and heavenly heels, the former is responsible for the creative direction of the collections, while the latter takes on the task of business development. That’s not just a divide-and-conquer strategy for business—their company is based on the idea that they have alter-style-egos, and their personal looks play off each other brilliantly. So, we asked these two L.A. ladies to let us tag along for a week of work and play, and we made out like bandits with some seriously pitch-perfect outfit snaps.
