Parisian Couturier Creates Collection With Potato Chip Bags And Paper Mache

Lest you thought that couture was all about utilizing silk spun from Evian-fed worms or cloth made from the mane of the Last Unicorn or something—think again! Franck Sorbier presented his couture '11 collection yesterday that was composed of a few looks that were constructed out of flattened potato chip bags and candy wrappers, as well paper mâché and clothespins. And surprising, with all the garbage he used, this is still a whole lot less trashy than JWOWW's first collection. (WWD)
