There's been plenty of headgear in 2011 to fascinate our style senses, but here comes a bit more — and just in time to spend a laid-back holiday weekend at home getting crafty. The spread, styled by Giovanna Battaglia and photographed by Greg Lotus, brings some DIY holiday magic to the pages of the magazine in the shape of extra-long ponytails and sky-high updos that give Marge Simpson some major competition. Maybe we never mastered the art of the perfect paper snowflake — or heck, even the origami tuck — but we've got some newfound inspiration for breaking out the scrap paper.
