Bergdorf Goodman:
Bergdorf Goodman's beauty floor may be on the department store's lower level, but it's definitely not bargain basement. You can pick up samples of their deluxe (read: pricey) makeup and skincare offerings--just ask at the counters--but if you have a specific splurge in mind, now's the time to buy: BG's Be Beautiful event runs until January 30. Spend $200 on beauty and you get a free FEED5 bag full of samples from brands like Darphin, Clarins, ReVive, Laura Mercier, Jo Malone, Guerlain, and more (each bag provides five school meals to students in Kenya through the UN World Food Programme).
Bergdorf Goodman, 753 Fifth Avenue (at 58th Street); 212-558-1855.
