Mickey Hargitay Plants
If George Clooney can call upon owner Mickey and his crew for all his landscaping needs, well then — they're definitely good enough for us! Landscaping aside, this NeHo nursery is stocked with a stellar selection of flowers, seeds, outdoor plants and fountains. You name it, they’ve got it.

Sheridan Gardens Nursery
This small scale Burbank nursery is a goldmine of lush indoor and outdoor plants. You’ll be charmed by the staff and their tremendous know-how on every plant and flower. Perfect for apartment dwellers, you’ll find everything you need for your smaller, indoor garden.

San Gabriel Nursery and Florist
In the biz for over 80 years, this San Gabriel destination may be outside of the city confines, but it’s definitely worth the hike. Rows upon rows of flowers, veggies, and plants welcome you, so it’s easy to spent an afternoon here. Plus, they have a full-service florist shop, so we suggest grabbing a fresh bouquet on your way out the door.

Juicy Leaf
This place may not a full-fledged nursery yet, but our list wouldn’t be complete without this Abbot Kinney gem. Prepare to ooh and ahh over the mind-blowing selection of sculptural succulents and inventive, leafy arrangements. The plants here are like works of art; every indoor or outdoor garden should have at least one — or five! — of these babies from Juicy Leaf. From badass bonsai arrangements to air plant masterpieces, you won't be disappointed.

Merrihew's Sunset Gardens
The second you enter this West Side nursery, you’ll be overcome with the awesome scents and eye candy. Everything you need for Gardening 101 is at your fingertips, including a steady arsenal of seeds, plants, supplies, and tools. Let's just say, you'll be growing a brag-worthy orchard in no time flat.

Sunset Boulevard Nursery
Located right on Sunset, this nursery is hard to miss — for good reason. They’ve got everything you need to start a garden (think starter plants and seeds and an impressive ceramic pottery selection). Plus, the staff is uber-knowledgeable and friendly, so don't be surprised if you find yourself walking out with cardboard crates brimming with herbs, regional plants and succulents.

Marina del Rey Garden Center
If you adore tropical plants and cherish your herb garden, you’ll feel right at home in this Marina del Rey mecca. The staff is super hands-on and will help you plan out your arrangements. From a top-notch terracotta planter selection, to beyond gorgeous flowers (tip: stock up on the peonies!), you’ll leave with a car packed with greenery.

Rolling Greens Nursery
Blooming flowers and plants, vibrant ceramic planters, exposed wood — it’s like a page out of an Anthropologie catalog in here! With locations in West Hollywood and Culver City, it’s super easy to spend hours upon hours exploring every nook and cranny. The WeHo location is stocked with plants, decor and one-of-a-kind gifts aplenty, while the Culver City location has a larger nursery (so we suggest heading to the latter if you mean serious green-thumb business). Also, both stores frequently hold events like terrarium building classes. Where do we sign up?!

It might appear that the Hollywood storefront is strictly a hardware store, but if you head to the back, you’ll discover a botanical utopia. Affordably priced with an extensive selection of plants and pots, this place has all the necessities to get your garden in gear. Plus, we love that they’re open late for post-work visits.

Right off the 101, this Calabasas locale is great for all your landscaping needs. The massive selection and awesome, friendly staff will hook you up with the best. From vegetable varieties and rare succulents to fruit trees and everything in between, this nursery is totally worth the trek to the Valley.

We head to this petite nursery to get our fill of hanging plants, mid-century planters, and housewarming gifts. (Really, who doesn’t love getting a succulent terrarium for their new abode?) Also, they’ve got a well-edited assortment of outdoor furniture, so get ready to spruce up that patio.
