Never is the search for nude lingerie so crucial as in the summertime, when layers are shed and clothing gets noticeably more sheer. Back in September, Nubian Skin teased its revolutionary concept — nude lingerie for all — on Instagram. The behind-the-scenes snaps of its inaugural photo shoot, featuring women of color in bras and undies that actually complemented their skin tones, circled the web. By the time the brand's site launched in October, many were hooked — including long-frustrated American customers who shelled out for international shipping without giving it a second thought. In fact, Hassan told the L.A. Times in March that the U.S. was Nubian Skin's largest market.
Today, you'll be able to add a selection of Nubian's basics to your ever-growing Nordstrom shopping list. The retailer is currently carrying the essential underwire T-shirt bra (a seamless style for every day), the convertible strapless bra (for all your spaghetti-strap needs), and the mid-rise brief and seamless thong in a variety of signature shades. You can still shop the full selection of Nubian Skin's offerings (as well as a wider range of sizes) on the brand's own website, but Nordstrom takes the sting out of shipping costs for these few key staples.
