Seems like two heads are better than one, as far as feet go. One of our many weaknesses over here are designer shoe collaborations, and apparently, the more unlikely the match-up, the better. The Nike Sportswear x Steven Alan collection launched last night at a party in Tribeca, and is currently available exclusively at Steven Alan stores nationwide and online—what better inspiration for keeping committed to your New Year's fitness resolutions than fashionable footwear? While we may not have previously considered the two brands becoming a design duo, it isn't all that surprising after all. Steven Alan is a genius with reworking classic pieces, keeping the functionality of each item intact, which is exactly what he accomplished with the line. Using premium suede and canvas materials in a palette of earthy neutrals, Alan applied his signature aesthetic to Nike styles like the Air Zoom Lava Dome and the Air Zoom Magma. The end product, needless to say, is casual, chic, and provides the perfect incentive for jumpstarting those 2011 goals.

Nike Sportswear X Steven Alan, $115-155, available at Steven Alan, 103 Franklin Street (Between Church Street and West Broadway); 212-343-0692 .
